Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery. Necessary certifications include AHA BLS, NRP, and AWHONN. Experience with pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor is required. Proficiency in Cerner is also essential. Candidates must be willing to work two major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as one minor holiday, which includes the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
