Senior Cyber Systems Administrator Job Overview Support plant design and engineering teams by developing and executing cyber security engineering strategies. Lead the build and hardening of an industrial control systems laboratory, and administer operational technology environments. Responsibilities Execute advanced threat hunting using known adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. Develop threat intelligence and maintain situational awareness for advanced persistent threats (APTs). Produce reports on incidents, trends, and risk status. Identify and remediate control weaknesses in collaboration with firewall, engineering, and system administrators. Perform senior-level information security analysis and recommend safeguards for computer, server, network, and data configuration. Conduct technical risk assessments and reviews for new and existing applications. Implement systems and procedures to prevent, detect, contain, and correct data security breaches. Maintain professional demeanor and effective communication in all interactions. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 15 years combined experience in Cyber Engineering, IT Networking, and Operational Technologies. Advanced knowledge of NDR, EDR, SIEM, Azure, and AWS. Valid certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, GCIH, GPEN, or GICSP. Experience with Identity and Access Management, MFA, PKI. Cloud proficiency in AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps. Networking, firewall, and software‑defined networking skills. Integration of cybersecurity tools for an enterprise‑level program. Experience with AI, ML, and orchestration for security automation. Knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, modules, development, and architecture. Understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles. Technical skills in scripting, workflow configuration, business rule development, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow Glide API. Compensation Level V: $180,000 to $205,000 (state and local regulations apply).
