Job Description
Job Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role requires expertise in CT imaging, particularly using Siemens equipment, and involves a mix of emergency department and inpatient care. The position is full-time, operating on a mid-shift schedule from Tuesday to Friday. Location City: Downtown, VA Shift Details
- Schedule: Mid 4x10-Hour (13:00 - 23:30)
- Days: Tuesday - Friday
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Siemens imaging systems and Epic charting software
- Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT (R)(CT)
- Patient Care Experience: Experience in various patient age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Specialized Skills:
- CT imaging without and/or with contrast
- Emergency Department imaging
- Trauma level I experience
- Preparation and administration of contrast media
- Vascular CTA and Transplant studies
- Previous charge experience is preferred
- Must possess a valid Virginia or compact state license at the time of application
- Ability to float between departments when necessary
- BSN is preferred but not mandatory
- Candidates will undergo background checks as part of the hiring process
- Compliance with natural nail policies and fingerprinting for ER and psych candidates is required
- Training modules will be assigned and must be completed within the orientation week
