Location: Cheshire, CT
Schedule: Onsite | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: $45,000-$75,000 (based on experience)
Bonus: 5% discretionary bonus

What You'll Be Doing:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines clients, providing guidance on coverage changes, contractual requirements, exclusions, and exposures.
  
  
• Develop and manage customized insurance strategies aligned with client needs and long-term goals.
  
  
• Act as an authorized representative of insurance carriers, assessing and binding coverage as appropriate.
  
  
• Strategically manage renewal remarketing to support high retention rates.
  
  
• Oversee the preparation of client proposals, including submissions, loss evaluations, and risk analyses, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of quotes and policies.
  
  
• Prepare and review insurance summaries, binders, certificates, endorsements, policies, and related documentation.
  
  
• Assist clients with first reports of claims and coordinate with carriers and claims teams to support efficient resolution.
  
  
• Conduct detailed policy reviews during renewals and audits, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies proactively.
  
  
• Review cancellation requests, identify retention opportunities, and protect the company's financial integrity.
  
  
• Stay current on industry trends, products, legislation, coverage options, and technology.
  
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and resolve complex client service issues.
  
  
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Active Property & Casualty License in the state of domicile (required).
  
  
• Insurance designations such as AINS, CIC, CPCU, or ARM preferred.
  
  
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; four-year degree preferred.
  
  
• Minimum of 5 years of account management experience in the insurance industry with a focus on personal lines.
  
  
• Strong understanding of advanced personal lines coverage and complex insurance needs.
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
  
  
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  
  
• Strong presentation skills for both in-person and virtual meetings.
  
  
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of insurance markets, underwriting procedures, products, and ratings.
  
  
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
