Commercial Sales Representative

Sure-Dry is looking for a driven, relationship-focused commercial sales representative to help grow our commercial division. In this role, you will build relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, and other industry professionals while identifying opportunities and providing solutions that meet each customer's needs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing business, managing projects from proposal through installation, and combining sales expertise with strong attention to detail.

What You'll Do

Build the Business

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, and other industry professionals.

• Represent Sure-Dry at industry events, trade shows, presentations, and networking opportunities.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial customers by answering questions, coordinating installation schedules, providing contract deliverables, ensuring quality, and resolving concerns.

• Partner with the Marketing Manager to develop and carry out the commercial division's marketing plan.

Drive Sales

• Research and pursue new commercial sales opportunities.

• Build rapport with prospective customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right solutions.

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company software.

• Create project submittals, including shop drawings, capacity calculations, and product certifications for the Engineer of Record.

• Consistently follow up on open proposals and guide opportunities through the full sales process.

• Stay involved with sold projects from the initial agreement through completion.

• Meet or exceed established commercial sales goals and key performance indicators.

Set Operations Up for Success

• Coordinate contracts, paperwork, data entry, and correspondence for all sold commercial projects.

• Ensure project information is accurate, timely, and completed according to company procedures.

• Provide installation crews with the job details and resources they need to be successful.

• Coordinate utility locates and prepare for special installation requirements.

• Maintain clear and timely communication with the Production team throughout each commercial project.

• Assist the Finance team with project collections when needed.

Ability to travel to Milwaukee, Madison, and Minneapolis approximately one week per month.

Requirements

• Knowledge of sales, marketing, and/or customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of construction principles and practices preferred.
• Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
• Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on computer screen 75-100% of time.
• Skill in verbal (including presentation skills) and written communication.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Associates or bachelor's degree preferred and 2+ years of sales and/or sales management experience OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
• A valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company.

Salary Description


$70,000.00 - $137,500.00
