Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:

The Orchards at Roseville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Roseville, Michigan. Pay starts at $28 per hour and increases based on expereience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care services, including but not limited to: exercising, stretching, and strengthening exercises, as well as assisting with transfers and ambulation

• Conduct physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as outlined in the established treatment plan

• Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the physical therapist

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning, as necessary

• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, while promoting a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting

• 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, with a strong desire to learn and grow

• Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the State of Michigan

• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Some weekend days periodically

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
