Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,181 per week

Travel Physical Therapist – Norwich, Connecticut Start Date: 05/25/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week. 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel. Requirements Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with successful completion of the NPTE. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or active application for licensure in the state of employment. Current CPR certification. Other requirements may be determined by the client facility. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals tailored to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic, achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient and provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapeutic goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to develop and evaluate team goals for each patient.
