Product Branding Course Assistant

Job Description:

Rate: $15

Hours: 5hrs per week

This course examines issues around industrial design in brand development, through applied problems. There is a focus on the relationship of telling compelling stories to connecting a brand with people.

Need someone who knows the subject, the process, the tools and course particularly well, but also sees the real world value and reach of the tools and knowledge the course brings.

Requirements:

Setup:

• picking up and setting out the handouts that are printed each week at Central Services
• indicating the assignment drop off spot, as well as the sign in sheet
• set up for "breakfast" each week.

Administration:

• collecting and logging completed assignments to note class participation
• distributing workshop tools as needed
• serves as a tech assistant
• oversees the printing of any materials that might be needed during class and/or workshop session
• greet and sign in our outside, professional guests and speakers, as well as coordinate additional details of space/technology.

Teaching:

• assisting in explanations of concepts and tools
• pulling in strong ID terms and analogies
• running/overseeing workshop groups during breakout sessions.
• lending her voice/thoughts/perspectives/suggestions in feedback
• provide guidance, answer questions, and to oversee the smooth transfer of students in and out of those sessions
• During the week, she serves as an "on the floor" resource to students.
