Clinic Medical Assistant

Job Overview:

Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center in Jasper, Indiana is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified, Clinic Medical Assistant to join the team of a busy Oncology/Hematology clinic. This role provides direct patient care, collaborates with other staff and departments, and supports the patients while under the care of Medical Oncologists and Nurse Practitioners. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person would assist with rooming patients, obtain vital signs, reconcile medication lists, and provide support in other areas of the clinic where appropriate.


Education and Experience:

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Certificates/Licenses:

Current certification/license from one of the below:

• Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants
• CPR provider certification required.

Shift: Days - Monday-Friday - No weekends or holidays

Hours: 32 per week

Pay Scales:

CMA/RMA: $19.14 to $26.79
