Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled X-ray/Radiology Technologist to join the imaging team at a Level I trauma hospital. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging, in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong technical proficiency and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately using GE and Medtronic equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Maintain proper documentation within electronic medical records (Cerner Rad Net).
• Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and safety standards during routine and emergency imaging.
• Collaborate with medical staff to achieve optimal imaging results for diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist with fluoroscopic and surgical procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification in radiologic technology required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in all areas of diagnostic radiology.
• Proficiency in portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude.
