About the Position
Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00-15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Licensed PT Certifications: None specified Must-Have: - Acute care and rehab experience Description: The position is for a Physical Therapist. The unit has 285 acute care beds and 16 inpatient rehab beds. The patient ratio for acute care is 12:1, and for rehab, it is 4-5:1. Unit staffing includes rehab technicians and unit secretaries. Equipment includes safe patient handling equipment and standard rehab tools. Documentation is managed through a digital system. The schedule requires working five 8-hour days Monday through Friday. There is one weekend shift every six weeks, with flexibility in off days. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Floating may occur between acute care and rehab units. Candidates must have experience in evaluations and treatments. Dress code requires eggplant-colored scrubs. Recognition programs include employee of the month and a sunflower award.
