About the Position

Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in the ICU. The unit includes 16 beds with 60 staff members. Staffing consists of 1 Charge RN and 8 RNs during the day shift, with a Patient Care Technician available. Patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients. The unit is equipped with cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps. Experience with medical ICU and neuro population is preferred. Typical procedures performed include intubations and central line placements. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player. 24/7 physician coverage is provided by intensivists, neuro-intensivists, and trauma surgeons.
