We are looking for a CPA to work in Kalispell, MT supporting our client.

Position Summary:

• The CPA will be responsible forpreparing and reviewing tax returns, providing accounting and advisoryservices, conducting tax planning, assisting with financial reporting, andmaintaining strong client relationships.
• The ideal candidate istechnically proficient, detail-oriented, client-focused, and capable ofmanaging multiple projects during busy tax seasons while deliveringexceptional service.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Tax Services
• Prepare and review federal,state, and local tax returns for:
• Individuals
• Partnerships
• S Corporations
• C Corporations
• Trusts and Estates
• Nonprofit Organizations
• Conduct tax research and analyzecomplex tax issues.
• Develop tax planning strategiesto minimize liabilities and maximize savings.
• Ensure compliance withapplicable tax laws and regulations.
• Respond to IRS and state taxnotices and correspondence.
• Assist clients with tax auditsand examinations as needed.
• Accounting & FinancialServices
• Prepare and review financialstatements and supporting schedules.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping,general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data andprovide meaningful recommendations.
• Support month-end and year-endclosing processes.
• Prepare compiled and reviewedfinancial statements in accordance with professional standards.
• Client Advisory Services
• Serve as a trusted advisor tobusiness owners and individual clients.
• Provide guidance regardingentity selection, business growth, succession planning, and cash flowmanagement.
• Identify opportunities toimprove financial performance and operational efficiencies.
• Meet with clients regularly todiscuss financial and tax strategies.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Maintain compliance with AICPA,Montana Board of Public Accountants, and firm professional standards.
• Stay current on evolving taxlaws, accounting regulations, and industry trends.
• Mentor and support junioraccounting staff.
• Assist with workflow managementand quality control procedures.
• Participate in businessdevelopment and community engagement activities.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Active Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of publicaccounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal andstate tax regulations.
• Experience preparing andreviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Proficiency with accounting,tax, and financial reporting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical,organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
• Ability to manage multipledeadlines and priorities.
• Preferred:
• 5+ years of public accountingexperience.
• Experience with tax planning andconsulting services.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks andcloud-based accounting platforms.
• Experience supervising ormentoring staff.
  Knowledge of small business and closely held company accounting

Must Have:
