Home Health Aide

Pay: $18–$22 per hour | Flexible Schedules | Cases Throughout New York County

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout Westchester County, NY .

We have clients throughout Westchester County, including Manhattan, East Harlem, Midtown, Chelsea, Lower East Side, West Village and New York City

We understand that location matters. Our team will work to connect you with available clients based on where you live, your preferred work area, your availability, and current case openings.

You don't have to travel across the entire county — tell us where you want to work, and we'll work to find an available case that fits.

What You'll Do

As an HHA with Rockaway Home Care, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Providing mobility and transfer assistance

• Assisting with meals and daily routines

• Providing medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to the client's care

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition to the appropriate care team

• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided

• Following the client's established plan of care
  

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA)

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

• Strong communication skills

• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect

• Previous home care experience preferred, but not required
