We are hiring a nocturnist . A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit group of 17 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Brockton Hospital.
\n
• We are fortunate to have a dedicated site coordinator assigned to this team who will help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
\n
• Our clinical performance nurse will assist in delivering an exceptional patient care experience.
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician.
\n
• 2+ years Hospitalist or Nocturnist experience preferred.
\n
• Authorized to work in the United States or require H1b visa support.
\n

\n

Scheduling:

\n

\n
• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. We cover for each other so we can take off when needed.
\n
• Nocturnist hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• As a Nocturnist Physician, your responsibility will encompass approximately 9 admissions and cross coverage alongside a Nocturnist APP. Swing Admitter onsite until 9pm for overlap coverage.
\n
• You may have the opportunity to teach transitional year residents from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
\n
• The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. So, procedures are not required.
\n
• As part of our hospitalist team, you’ll contribute to the rapid response and code team. The intensivist team will take over the code once they arrive.
\n
• Our team will connect frequently over lunch to address concerns and receive updates on Sound and hospital matters.
\n
• We use Meditech and have access to our internal informatics platform.
\n

Rewards and Compensation:

• Competitive salary of $374,000 with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth.
\n
• $25,000 commencement bonus.
\n
