Under supervision of the Custodian Supervisor I the Custodian I in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), State Capitol/Swing Space Building is responsible for the daily cleaning of assigned building, office and/or common areas by applying sustainable work practices in the operation and maintenance of all building systems and equipment in accordance with Department of General Services (DGS) and FMD policies, procedures, and guidelines and the Excellence in Public Buildings Initiative. This position is Limited Term (12 months); it may become permanent, be extended up to 24 months, or be cancelled at any time.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment. The Department of General Services does not participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.
