Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 2-week travel assignment in Denton, Texas. Provide high-quality nursing care while earning up to $45/hr with premium pay and comprehensive benefits. Impact patient outcomes and support the local hospital team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in the emergency room setting.
• Assist the ACNO with nurse staffing, including onboarding, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance, monitoring attendance at mandatory trainings, medication scan rates, and medication errors.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program preferred.
• TNCC, PALS (or ENPC), ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Zero to one year of emergency room or critical care nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts.
