Customer Service Representative, Phone Support [Remote]

Role Overview

Support customers through live phone interactions with businesses and service providers, completing everyday requests while contributing real world input that helps improve next generation AI systems. This remote independent contractor role serves customers across the United States and requires polished written and verbal English communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Place and receive calls on customers’ behalf for reservations, appointment scheduling, vendor confirmations, and other requests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with businesses and service providers to gather information and complete requests.
• Navigate automated phone menus, hold queues, and call centers to reach the appropriate contact.
• Accurately document call outcomes and important details while maintaining confidentiality.
• Manage a high volume of short, consecutive calls covering varied customer needs.
• Collaborate with remote colleagues to provide a consistent, high quality service experience.
• Handle sensitive customer information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• Experience in executive assistance, virtual assistance, concierge services, or phone based customer support is preferred.
• Fluent, neutral, clear spoken English, with strong improvisation and live conversation skills for United States based interactions.
• Confidence making outbound calls, including cold calls, and navigating automated phone systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage consecutive tasks, and deliver high quality remote service.
• Hospitality, restaurant, or travel industry experience is a plus, as is negotiation or escalation experience.
• A reliable high speed internet connection, quiet workspace, and quality wired or USB headset are required.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement for candidates located in Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, or Brazil.
• Initial four week engagement with four five hour shifts per week, up to 20 hours weekly.
• Representatives must remain fully active and responsive throughout each scheduled shift.
• Weekend availability is required for part of the team.

Compensation

• $18 to $28 per hour.
• Payment is based on scheduled, available hours, not the number of calls completed.

Selected candidates are typically placed within 48 hours and should be ready to begin their first shifts within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.
