Corporate Associate - Executive Compensation Locations: Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, CA; New York, NY; or Boston, MA Anticipated base salary: $310,000–$390,000 Stonegate Workforce Group is recruiting a Corporate Executive Compensation Associate for a reputable AmLaw Firm’s corporate practice. The associate will advise companies at different stages of growth on executive and equity compensation matters, working alongside teams handling mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and ongoing public company obligations. This opportunity may suit an attorney already practicing in executive compensation or an attorney with a corporate or tax background who wants to move into the practice. The team has experience training attorneys from related disciplines. What You’ll Work On Executive and equity compensation issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. Compensation matters connected to public company offerings, representing either companies or underwriters. Executive compensation reporting and disclosure obligations. Ongoing advice to companies on compensation matters throughout their business life cycle. Research, drafting, and collaboration with attorneys across relevant practice areas. Qualifications Experience in executive compensation, corporate law, or tax matters. Prior work involving executive or equity compensation is preferred, but attorneys from related corporate or tax practices are encouraged to apply. Ideally no more than seven years of experience; attorneys with more experience who are changing practice groups may also be considered. Strong academic credentials, a strong work ethic, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate applies. The anticipated base salary range is $310,000–$390,000 .
