About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Biostatistics to play a pivotal role in the strategic direction and execution of its biometrics functions. The successful candidate will be the principal statistical authority, providing expert oversight across all clinical programs and ensuring the highest standards of statistical methodologies and study designs. This leadership position demands a balance of deep scientific expertise, strong strategic judgment, and operational leadership, with a focus on influencing clinical development strategies and guiding the organization through the dynamic, high-growth environment of the biotechnology industry. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Biostatistics include defining and leading the long-term vision for biostatistics and data management, serving as a trusted advisor on statistical strategy, and leading the statistical strategy for global regulatory interactions. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, overseeing external partners, and driving continuous improvement in the organization. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MS in a related discipline, at least 15 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical R&D, and a strong preference for expertise in cell therapy. The role requires a proven track record in leading biostatistics teams, influencing executive stakeholders, and a deep understanding of global regulatory expectations.
