Specialist, Organization Communication

Job Title

Contract Term: 6 months with possibility of extension Requesting Department: TSS-PSJ Schedule: Full-Time – On-site All work hours will be at billed at the same base rate regardless of the number of hours worked per billing period. Typical Tasks:

• Assist in creating program literature and other forms of communication;
• Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic;
• Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications;
• Design and launch email marketing campaigns;
• Recommend, implement and maintain site design and operation;
• Promote products and services through public relations initiatives;
• Develop marketing communications campaigns;
• Create thought leadership materials;
• Develop fresh story ideas;
• Prepare briefing materials;
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics;
• Coordinate PSJSP Summit Meeting;
• Manage information channels on SharePoint and Newsletters;
• Prepare communication agendas and conduct communication research;
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Provide knowledge transfer to County internal team members by leading knowledge transfer sessions.

Training and Experience: Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities. Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Communications, Sociology, Marketing, English or related field.
