Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up – we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.Your ImpactThe primary purpose of this role is to coordinate communication requests from across the business and execute quality, professional content across internal communications vehicles (email, intranets, social business platforms, digital signage, etc.) for more than 250,000 employees in the corporate offices, stores and distribution centers under the direction of the Sr Manager of Employee Communications.The Corporate Communications Sr. Specialist must be able to triage multiple communications requests; help create communications processes to drive efficiency on the team, and support the Employee Communications team by creating and disseminating communications about Lowe's corporate initiatives, objectives and programs in a timely, thorough and clear manner to Lowe's employees. This role is critical to Lowe's because it works closely with the Corporate Communications Specialists and Managers as well as business partners across the company to communicate company wins, keep employees informed on company strategy and milestones, drive a purpose-driven culture across employee locations, and help equip employees with information they need to perform their jobs and understand how their work is connected to the company's purpose of helping people love where they live.What You Will DoWorks collaboratively with team members to write, edit, and execute content for internal communications vehicles, including but not limited to email, intranet, print, internal social platforms and digital signageWorks collaboratively with team members to execute communication plansResponds to internal communications requests in a timely and professional mannerMaintains and creates distribution listsPerforms minimal graphic design through the use of Adobe or PhotoShop and be able to articulate creative needs to support communicationsMaintains communication relationships with corporate office business partnersAssists Corporate Communications Managers and Director on special projects, as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicableAbout Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
