Maintenance ManagerClient is searching for a Maintenance Manager for a commercial laundry operation in Early Branch, SC (near Charleston and Hilton Head). As a Maintenance Manager you're the leader of the maintenance department where you will develop and facilitate mechanical needs between all departments.Job Summary:The Maintenance Manager has overall responsibility for the daily repair and preventative maintenance of industrial textile processing equipment and facility maintenance and guides the maintenance team by providing training, direction and leadership. They will ensure all vendor services and contractors are compliant with the mission, objectives, policies and procedures of the Company as well as all regulatory requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:Safety is Priority #1. Ensure a safe working environment, and protection of all company assetsEnsure the proper maintenance, preventive maintenance (PMs), repairs, and installations are conducted on all plant equipment.Supervise, direct, coordinate and assign daily work schedules to ensure accountability for the team.Develop and implement computerized methods, control systems and procedures to ensure a fully operational and productive preventive maintenance program, parts stockroom and inventory system.Monitoring and ensuring the efficient use of all utilities, practicing energy conservation through usage reduction and cost control.Recommend and communicate to senior management on capital expenditures, equipment, parts, supplies, and materials.Requirements:3+ years industrial maintenance experience with knowledge of machinery, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder and boiler applications.Lead or supervisory experience required, management experience is preferred.Commercial laundry experience is preferred.
