Locums | OB/GYN (OB Emergency Dept) | St. Louis, MO (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

• No call — scheduled 12-hour in-house shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), day or night
• Dedicated OB Emergency Department backed by an OB hospitalist team
• Strong support: APP coverage 18 hrs/day, sonographer 18 hrs/day, RN team
• Multiple openings — flexible shift volume as the site hires
• Board-eligible accepted, not only board-certified
Assignment Details
• Start: August 3, 2026, ongoing
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a (specify provider's shift preference at bid), no call
• Volume: ~30-40 shifts/month available; 40-60 patients/day in the OB ED
• Setting: 12-bed OB Emergency Department, Level 1 trauma
• Scope: evaluate pregnant patients through 6 weeks postpartum for OB/GYN complaints
• Support: one physician 24/7 plus APP support (PA/NP/midwife), 2-3 RNs, sonographer 18 hrs/day
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: ~60 days
Clinical Details
• OB emergency care: low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound (Level I and II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair
• Diagnosis and treatment of ectopic pregnancy
• Preferred: office/minor gynecology
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active MO license or IMLC
• ACLS, BLS
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
