About the Role:
Join Laguna Palms Orthodontics as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in creating beautiful smiles. We are looking for a passionate individual to support our orthodontic team and provide exceptional patient care in our Elk Grove, CA office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for patient treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of orthodontic appliances.
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.
• Stay updated on the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in an orthodontic setting.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
