Senior Bioprocess Associate

Senior Bioprocess Associate executes commercial manufacturing processes for therapeutic proteins under cGMP regulations at Bristol Myers Squibb's Devens facility. The role involves operating production equipment, managing materials inventory, maintaining documentation, and supporting process investigations in a regulated biotechnology environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine manufacturing assignments following written procedures with minimal supervisory guidance
• Operate primary production equipment including bioreactors, chromatography skids, and media preparation systems
• Weigh and verify raw materials; assemble, clean, and sterilize process equipment as needed
• Revise and create process documents and support process-related investigations with Quality representatives
• Maintain inventory levels, clean room compliance, and production records using process automation and business systems

Requirements

• High school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree in science, engineering, biochemistry or related field preferred
• Minimum 2+ years process operations experience in GMP-regulated biotechnology manufacturing
• Practical knowledge of GMP regulations and company standard operating procedures
• Proficiency with automation systems (Delta V, Syncade Interactions, OSI/Pi Historian) and business systems (SAP, Trackwise, Maximo)
• Demonstrated attention to detail, personal accountability, and collaborative teamwork capability
• Competency with standard computer tools including word processing and spreadsheets

Compensation: $29.83 - $36.15 per hour
