Phlebotomist III – Floater

Our client, a medical research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist III – Floater for their Alpena, MI location. Responsibilities include:

• Representing the face of the company to patients
• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner
• Demonstrating leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information
• Performing daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience needed
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must
• State of Credentials Licenses Required: Graduated Phlebotomist certification
