TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Advanced skills in care of the laboring patient - Care of the newborn immediately after delivery - Ability to circulate and recover C-section patients Description: The unit has a total of 12 patient beds. The patient ratio is 1:2. Unit staffing includes RNs, unit secretary, and OR techs. The documentation systems in use are CPN and Meditach. Schedule requirements consist of 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift for RNs. There are also 2 call shifts required for techs. RNs will float to different units as necessary. A focus on shared decision-making is part of the patient experience. Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor. Scrubs are required in specific colors: Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray. Additional unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided. This unit values innovation and has access to new equipment and technology. The team consists of experienced staff, providing a supportive environment for new hires. Flexibility in scheduling options is available.
