Production Support Engineer

- # Job Description# Production Support Engineer* Respond to and resolve business queries for the Market Risk space.* Manage the user query mailbox, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.* Resolve feed and batch support items, including alert management and monitoring.* Utilize framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace, and Splunk for updates and reporting.* Conduct incident management, providing user notifications and managing escalations.* Perform documentation and knowledge management tasks.* Coordinate resolutions with various development teams.* Assist with metrics reporting and coordinate Business Continuity testing.* Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.* Strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX / LINUX.* Working knowledge of ITIL, ITRS, DynaTrace, and Splunk.* Proficiency with Autosys and Bob jobs.* Python scripting knowledge.* Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).* Previous financial industry experience, specifically with Market Risk.* Familiarity with Agile methodology.* Operations exposure with Windows OS.* Working knowledge of Tableau.*Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
