Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Infectious Disease PRN Faculty Physician, you will help patients facing complex infectious diseases receive expert diagnosis and advanced treatment so they can recover effectively and achieve optimal health outcomes. In this role, you willprovide comprehensive infectious disease care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, while actively shaping the next generation of medical professionals.You will deliver direct patient care, provide clinical supervision and teaching for residents and medical students, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team within a leading academic medical center. To be successful in this role, you mustpossess strong clinical expertise in Infectious Disease, a commitment to high-quality patient care and medical education, and the ability to effectively supervise and mentor residents. Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings Monday-Friday, 8a- 5p Provide clinical supervision and teaching for residents and medical students Be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides excellentcare for all patients Job Requirements Required MD or DO degree Successful completion of an ACGME accreditedresidency program and an Adult Infectious Disease fellowship Active/Eligibile board certification Internal Medicine / Infectious Disease Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Where You'll Work Located conveniently in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 571-bed, not-for-profit hospital that provides a wide range of health, social and support services.
