Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a MA RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 3 years of inpatient surgery experience including Level 1 trauma.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting in the Boston, MA area
• AM shift, 12-hour days from 7:00a–7:30p, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Candidate must be competent in at least 5 surgical services

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Competency in at least 5 surgical service lines required
• Two professional references required: at least one must be manager-level or above, one must be within the last 12 months, and the other within the last 3 years
• References from fellow travelers are not accepted
• Candidates must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B); the test may only be taken twice

• This position has no radius restriction for OR RNs — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills are expected
• There is no 30-mile radius rule for this specialty (that rule applies only to Med/Surg, Tele, ED, Critical Care, Respiratory Therapy, and Rad/X-Ray)
