Medical Front Desk Lead

We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time Medical Front Desk Lead to join our growing dermatology practice. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced medical receptionist or front desk professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both patients and staff.

The Front Desk Lead will oversee the daily front office workflow while ensuring patients receive exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support front desk team members across daily operations
• Ensure efficient patient check-in/check-out processes
• Assist with scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification
• Handle incoming calls, patient questions, and appointment coordination
• Train and mentor new front desk staff
• Monitor workflow and assist with resolving patient concerns professionally
• Maintain accuracy of patient demographics and documentation in EMR
• Coordinate with providers and management to ensure smooth office operations
• Assist with coverage and workflow across multiple office locations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous medical front desk experience required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Dermatology experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience working with EMR systems and insurance processes preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
