Back of House Staff

We're Athens Food Group, the team behind South Kitchen + Bar, Trappeze Pub, The Chapel, and our catering and events kitchen at Georgian Hall. We're looking for line cooks, prep cooks, and event cooks who want to cook real food at real volume.

Everything here starts from scratch. The prep list is long and the dining rooms get busy, so we need people who enjoy the pace and take pride in getting every plate and recipe right.

What you'd be doing

• Line Cooks run a station through busy services, keep mise tight, cook to spec, and communicate clearly with the line and the pass.
• Prep Cooks work through a daily prep list, handle knife work and batch recipes with consistency, and keep the walk-in organized.
• Event Cooks help produce and execute our catering and events, from large-batch production to on-site setup and execution. Some events are offsite, so schedule flexibility matters for this role.

What we're looking for

• Kitchen experience. Scratch or high-volume experience is a plus, but work ethic and attitude count just as much.
• Solid knife skills and good food safety habits.
• You show up on time, ready to work, and stay organized when service hits.
• You take feedback well and want to keep getting better.
• You're comfortable on your feet for a full shift in a hot, fast kitchen.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and event days.
