Key Responsibilities Manage the daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes; prepare accurate financial statements. Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for leadership review. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies. Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting accuracy. Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews. Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure professional development and accountability. Core Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred. 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or Controller-level responsibility. Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage preferred). Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
