VA Consultant- Illinois/Indiana

Description This role is a Value Analysis Consultant that works in a hybrid capacity across multiple hospitals. Employment Details Full time. Hybrid shift across Loyola Medical Center, MacNeal Hospital, and Gottlieb Hospital. Candidates must reside in Illinois or Indiana. Purpose To implement and manage the Value Analysis process, ensuring quality and safety while optimizing the utilization of supplies and services across cardiovascular, surgical, and other clinical areas. Responsibilities Implement and maintain the Value Analysis framework to improve product quality and reduce costs. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize supply‑related requests. Develop and execute cost reduction strategies and strategic sourcing plans. Lead value‑analysis governance, track savings opportunities, and maintain compliance with local, regional, and system contracts. Provide guidance on strategic capital purchases and ensure proper vendor management. Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Trinity Health integrity, compliance, and code of conduct. Promote a healing environment and advocate for patient cultural and faith beliefs while ensuring optimal use of resources. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of health‑care related experience in supply chain, value analysis, or clinical supply expense management. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical products and supply‑chain management principles. Additional Qualifications LPN, LVN, or RN work experience. Professional clinical certification from an accredited program. Physical and Mental Requirements Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs unassisted. Requires frequent computer use and sitting, with occasional walking and standing. Must handle frequent interruptions, shifting priorities, and stressful situations while maintaining attention to detail. Complies with Trinity Health policies and maintains a safe working environment. Compensation Pay Range: $75,592 – $113,389 per year. Benefits Summary Full benefits package available.
