We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated On-Call Substitute Teacher to join our Team! Join our small school as an on-call Substitute Teacher and become a vital part of inspiring young minds! You will step into classrooms across various grade levels and subject areas, while the teacher is away for the day. Your flexibility and enthusiasm will help maintain a positive classroom environment, ensuring students stay motivated and on track.This position is for an on-call substitute. Hours will vary based on need during a given week. This is a great opportunity for a parent that would like to work while kids are in school or for a college student that needs flexibility.Candidates must have at least 60 college credits to apply.DutiesImplement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.Manage classroom behavior with effective behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environmentAssist with classroom activitiesFoster positive relationships with students through mentoring and personalized attention, encouraging their academic and social growthCommunicate effectively with staff, parents, and administrators regarding student behavior and classroom needsBe dependable and prompt in coming to work after you have made a commitment to sub.Have fairly good availability to fill in at the last minute.ExperiencePrior classroom experience is preferred, but we will work with the right candidate.Demonstrated ability to work with children of various ages and developmental stages, including those requiring special education supportExperience working with children is desirableStrong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and parentsFamiliarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategiesJoin our small school as a substitute teacher!OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Satisfactory criminal background check.
