Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:


Provide comprehensive nursing care within an all-in-one Labor and Delivery unit, supporting maternal and neonatal health across various stages including delivery, postpartum, and nursery care. Utilize specialized skills to ensure safe, personalized, and compassionate patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in all aspects of the L&D unit, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal resuscitation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR and adhere to all compliance requirements.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience.
• Ensure all medical and occupational health requirements are completed within five days of assignment start.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required.
• Proficient in postpartum and mother/baby care delivery.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or valid Compact license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within the past three years required or preferred.
