Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) is responsible for performing diagnostic testing within the clinical laboratory. The role ensures accurate and timely results to support patient care and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and analyze laboratory tests following established protocols and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including EPIC and Beaker systems.
• Verify and document test results accurately in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CLS certification or equivalent.
• Possess at least one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC and Beaker laboratory information systems.
• Have a current CLS, ASCP, or NCA certification; N/A for CLS license in CA.
• Be able to work variable shifts, including weekends, with start times from 0600 to 1400.
