This on-site position focuses on safely transporting and repositioning containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities. Drivers are home daily and supported by the TransForce team throughout their assignment.Pay & SchedulePay rate: $33 per hourSchedule: Monday through FridayShift: Night shift, 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.Hours per week: 40Home dailyEmployment type: DedicatedStart date: July 1, 2026Job DetailsRoute type: LocalFreight: Containers, chassis, and trailersEquipment: Port and yard equipment, containers, chassis, and trailersHandling: No-touch freightWork setting: On-site port and yard operationsKey ResponsibilitiesTransport and reposition containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities.Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Document equipment conditions accurately.Use technology for real-time tracking and communication regarding assignments and updates.Assist warehouse personnel with strategic trailer placement when needed.Maintain a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.Minimum RequirementsValid CDL A2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experienceCurrent DOT Medical CertificateTWIC Card required, or ability to obtain immediatelyClean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 yearsMust meet all DOT and FMCSA requirementsMust be at least 23 years oldAbility to lift up to 50 poundsBenefitsCompetitive weekly payMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401(k) retirement planReferral programWhy Work With TransForceAt TransForce, drivers come first.
