About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to play a pivotal role in driving revenue and contributing to the company's expansion. The successful candidate will be a key collaborator with senior management, including the Division President, Director of Marketing, and Vice President of Operations. This leadership position demands a competitive and ambitious individual with a strategic and creative mindset, a proven track record in team leadership, and a strong ability to close deals and generate revenue. Key responsibilities for the role include developing and implementing sales strategies, selecting, hiring, and training sales staff, creating incentive programs, and negotiating sales contracts. The Vice President of Sales will also be responsible for managing all sales reports, working closely with the marketing team to implement community promotions, and maintaining a database of competition products and promotions. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the production homebuilding industry, with at least 8 years in a successful sales management role. The role requires an individual with expertise in sales strategy execution, exceptional interpersonal skills, a positive and high-energy leadership style, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The candidate must be adept at financial analysis, and problem-solving, and have a proven ability to create and lead effective sales teams. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is also a necessary qualification. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, changemaker, and thoughtful collaborator, ready to take their career to the next level in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
