Enterprise Program Manager

Overview Job Title: Program Manager (Public Sector / Healthcare) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced EPMO Project Manager to support large-scale initiatives within a Public Sector / Government Healthcare environment . This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects, driving governance, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring successful execution of enterprise-level healthcare initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) operations, public sector project delivery, and healthcare program management. Experience supporting healthcare systems, public health programs, Medicaid/Medicare initiatives, or healthcare IT modernization projects is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage enterprise-level healthcare projects and strategic initiatives within a Public Sector environment. Drive execution of initiatives related to healthcare systems, public health programs, eligibility systems, claims processing, or healthcare IT modernization . Collaborate with executive leadership, program sponsors, clinical/business teams, and IT stakeholders. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource plans . Ensure compliance with EPMO governance standards, healthcare regulations, and public sector reporting requirements . Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder reviews, and executive-level reporting. Manage risks, issues, dependencies (RAID), and change control processes . Coordinate across healthcare operations, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders . Monitor project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics . Maintain project documentation including charters, status reports, RAID logs, and communication plans . Support portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and governance processes. Required Qualifications 8+ years of Project Management experience with strong exposure to EPMO / PMO environments . Proven experience in Public Sector / Government projects . Public health programs Health and human services (HHS) programs Healthcare modernization or digital transformation initiatives Strong understanding of project governance, compliance, and executive reporting . Experience managing cross-functional teams (business, clinical, IT, vendors) . Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies . Experience with tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps , etc. Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership . Experience with budget tracking, resource planning, and scheduling . Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Preferred Qualifications PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification . Experience working within EPMO governance frameworks . Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA compliance, data privacy, audit requirements) .
