What You'll Do

As Director of Training, you'll help bring the LUMA Playbook to life by:
Developing Great Leaders

Design and execute company-wide learning strategies that develop future leaders, strengthen management teams, and prepare associates for long-term career success.
Creating Exceptional Learning Experiences

Develop engaging instructor-led, virtual, video-based, and self-paced training programs that support every stage of the employee lifecycle-from onboarding through leadership development.
Driving Operational Excellence

Partner with Operations, Marketing, Recruiting, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to improve consistency, execution, and performance across the portfolio.
Leading Technology Adoption

Champion the implementation and adoption of property management technology including Yardi, CRM platforms, EliseAI, resident screening systems, learning management systems, reputation management tools, and emerging AI technologies.
Coaching for Success

Travel throughout the portfolio to coach teams, reinforce best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and help leaders achieve exceptional results.
Building Resources That Last

Create playbooks, standard operating procedures, job aids, videos, leadership resources, and training materials that simplify complex processes and promote operational consistency.
Using Data to Drive Results

Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, measure training effectiveness, and proactively develop learning solutions that improve business outcomes.
Championing the LUMA Playbook

Help associates understand not only what we do-but why we do it-creating consistency, accountability, and an exceptional experience for employees, residents, and investors alike.

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of multifamily housing experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Training, Learning & Development, Operations Support, or Organizational Development
• Strong understanding of onsite property management operations, including leasing, maintenance, compliance, financial performance, and resident experience
• Demonstrated success designing, implementing, and scaling training programs across multiple communities
• Experience with Yardi, CRM platforms, resident screening systems, learning management systems, AI technology, and other property management software
• Outstanding presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
• Proven ability to influence leaders, drive organizational change, and improve operational performance
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex operational processes into practical, engaging learning experiences
• Bachelor's degree preferred
