Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour shift schedule. Weekly pay range: $1,633 to $1,691. This assignment takes place in a hospital setting and is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the PCU, applying the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate care based on the medical plan of care and input from patients and significant others
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate delivery of patient care across the shift
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care and patient outcomes
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, respond to changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care for patients and families
- Delegate appropriate aspects of care to other licensed or unlicensed staff based on competence and scope of practice

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Preferred: PCU or step-down experience; travel nursing experience welcomed
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of the nursing process and care across the adult and geriatric populations (unit-based age range varies)
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to complete credentialing requirements
