Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist

Overview Physical Therapist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This full‑time position requires an 8‑hour day shift. Responsibilities Evaluates, plans, directs and administers medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury, or loss of body part. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Required Qualifications Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association training program. Foreign trained applicants must complete a successful entry‑level educational equivalency review. California Physical Therapist License upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility, outpatient, or sub‑acute care settings.
