Locum - Physician - OB/GYN Colorado Springs, CO

We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional care at UCHealth Printers Park Medical Plaza and Memorial Central Medical Center. • Provide comprehensive Ob/Gyn services including low and high-risk pregnancies, deliveries, and gynecological procedures.
• Cover a flexible schedule with clinic hours and 24-hour hospital call shifts.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced Ob/Gyns and mid-levels, ensuring top-quality patient care.
• Perform obstetric ultrasounds, interpret fetal heart rates, and manage deliveries including C-sections and VBACs.
• Contribute to a busy, rewarding practice with an average of 20 patients per day and approximately 8 deliveries/week.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Colorado medical license and board certification in Ob/Gyn.
• Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including deliveries and surgical procedures.
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring, obstetric ultrasounds, and management of high and low-risk pregnancies.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while collaborating with a team.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience interpreting Ob ultrasounds beyond level 1/screening.
• Skills in office gynecology procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP.
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of post-residency Ob/Gyn practice experience preferred.
• Prior work in diverse obstetric settings, including high-risk patient management, is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on May 22, 2026, with flexible scheduling options including one week per month or more.
• Ability to handle 24-hour call shifts, with weekend and weekday coverage as needed.
• Must adhere to all licensing, certification, and safety protocols.
• Reimbursement for travel, lodging, and related expenses provided, including flights, car rental, and per diem.
