Family Medicine Physician at McClellan Air Force Satellite Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care and preventive health services at the McClellan Air Force Satellite Clinic. In this role, you will act as a Primary Care Manager (PCM), managing patient wellness, delivering clinical guidance to staff, and handling military-specific health assessments and profiles. Schedule: Monday - Friday 0700 - 1600 No Weekends No On-Call Benefits: 11 Federal Holidays 401(k) Health Insurance 15 Personal Leave Days Relocation Assistance Malpractice Insurance Sign-On-Bonus Yearly Retention Bonus Key Responsibilities: Direct Patient Care: Examine patients, formulate differential diagnoses, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and execute comprehensive treatment plans. Primary Care Management: Serve as the Primary Care Manager (PCM) responsible for overall health management and preventive care Referrals & Consultations: Determine the need for subspecialty consultations, approve/disapprove subspecialty referrals, and manage clinical care recommended by specialists. Qualification Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Education & Training: Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. or Canada (accredited by AMA, AOA, LCME, COCA, or equivalent ED/ACGME-recognized accrediting body). Foreign Graduates: Must possess permanent ECFMG certification, a Fifth Pathway certificate, or have successfully passed the USMLE with education equivalent to U.S. standards. Internship & Residency: Successful completion of an internship and residency program in Family Practice approved by the ACGME or AOA (including at least 1 year of supervised clinical internship experience). Experience: Graduation from an accredited Family Practice residency within the past 12 months OR A minimum of 24 months of Family Practice experience within the last 36 months. Licensure & Certifications: Medical License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine from any state. DEA Registration: Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number corresponding to state licensure to prescribe controlled substances. Life Support Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
