Inpatient Pharmacist

The position requires a pharmacist with a minimum of one year of experience. The role involves working night shifts in an inpatient pharmacy setting. The schedule follows a 7 on 7 off rotation. Candidates must have certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and IV Certification. Knowledge and experience in various areas of pharmacy practice, including antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, and clinical dosing are essential. Candidates will be responsible for managing high-alert medications, sterile techniques, and therapeutic medication monitoring. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. The pharmacist will provide care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census for the unit is approximately 80 patients, with a total of 120 beds available. Travelers should be prepared to float to similar units as needed.
