Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with K-5 or 6-8 populations strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging special education instruction tailored to a diverse group of approximately 25 students
• Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with general education staff to adapt curricula and assessments
• Provide ongoing communication with families regarding student progress
• Employ evidence-based strategies to promote academic and social growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
