MRI Technologist Contract Opportunity

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift
• Night shifts

Qualifications:

• Registered as a technologist with ARRT
• Valid Utah State Licensure (for positions based in Utah) with authorization to administer RX
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Proficiency operating MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physicians' orders, ensuring high-quality, diagnostic images are produced
• Accurately position patients for optimal imaging and comfort while following established protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and clarify clinical requirements
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, reporting any issues to appropriate technical staff
• Monitor for and prioritize patient safety, screening for contraindications and following appropriate safety procedures
• Document imaging and clinical data promptly and accurately within medical records and hospital systems
