Description UNC Health Pediatrics at Apex is hiring a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (PNP/PA) to care for children from birth to 18 years of age. Services Well-child checks Immunizations Sports/school/camp physicals Hearing, vision, and developmental screenings Same-day sick care Management of chronic health conditions including asthma, allergies, diabetes, and obesity Behavioral consultations including evaluation and treatment of ADHD Practice Hours Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Requirements Pediatric APP Licensed in North Carolina 2-plus years of experience required Education Requirements Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensure/Certification Requirements Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
